Hakuto Beach is a beautiful coast in Tottori Prefecture. It is the setting of the myth of Inaba no Shiro Usagi ("The white rabbit of Inaba") which has been recorded in Japan's oldest written record “Kojiki”. There is an island offshore from which the white rabbit returned. Hakuto Beach is famous for its sunsets and attracts many locals in summer. It takes 40 minutes by bus from Tottori Train Station.
