The Capcom Bar is one of the best themed restaurants in Tokyo. It is very unique and offers all kind of entertainment as well as great drinks and food. So if you like Biohazard, Phoenix Wright, Monster Hunter or any of the Capcom games, going to the Capcom Bar is a must. Hurry up and make a reservation to get an amazing Capcom experience.

When you first enter, you instantly see the nice Capcom setting. The lights are a bit dimmed, there are a lot of decorations and televisions where you can play games and watch animations and the whole ambiance feels really cozy. Along the wall are also various toys and figurine as well as books that you can borrow to entertain you during your meal.

The food items all look so amazing and fun that you risk ordering too much just because you want to try everything! And as far as themed restaurant's food go, these are pretty good and affordable. One of the most fun items is the Russian roulette takoyaki in which one of the takoyaki contains a lot of wasabi. Beware though, if you start with this meal, one of you will get the wasabi takoyaki and you might feel sick for the rest of the meal.

One of the strong points of the Capcom Bar is all the little skits the staff has prepared for the clients. At least once during your meal your waiter will perform a little skit related to the game of the food you ordered. At this moment, knowing Japanese or knowing the Japanese words related to the game of your choice is very helpful. Although you can definitely enjoy it and have fun anyway. They also perform various skits for the whole restaurant and give away a prize to a lucky winner at the end of each session.

Speaking of sessions, it is important to make a reservation in advance because each day is separated in different time blocks. You then have to choose one and come to the restaurant at that chosen time only. At the end of each session, everyone will have to leave the restaurant. Note also that the seat you are assigned to has a number and that number goes with the receipt pad with the same number. This is especially important if you and your friends intend to pay separately.

In conclusion, this is definitely one of the best themed restaurants in Tokyo and the best video games themed one. The atmosphere, food and drinks are great and the staff is really warm and kind.

It is located in Shinjuku's Kabukicho in one of the Pasela Resorts. An average meal will cost you between ¥2,000 and ¥3,000 and it is open between 14:00 and 23:30 on weekdays and between 11:30 and 23:30 on weekends and holidays.
