Sakitsu is a fishing port that stood still while the world changed 180 degrees. The Gothic style Cathedral was built in the 19th century, and while shipping has moved on to other ports, you can still find quaint family shops. Above the cathedral are a series of steps taking up to the lookout known as Sakitsu Chapel Bell. From here you can enjoy a 360 degree panorama of the surrounding mountains, bays and inlets, all untouched by man.
